## [0.4.327] - 2026-10-13 — run 927's queued claim-agreement gap lands as section N: the --format (default: human) claim and the registry's third copy of both default claims, 187 → 203 assertions, each docs-only plant measured green on the old suite first
### Added
- **Section N — the `--format` default claim.** Section L closed the two copies of the `--dedup` claim inside `--help`; run 927 queued the same class one flag over, and it was wider than one line: `--format`'s own `(default: human)` claim was read by nothing. K6–K9 prove the bare run RENDERS human, G1–G8 pin the human renderer itself, but no assertion reads the CLAIM, so editing the help to `(default: json)` walks past all of them while every behavior assertion stays green. N1–N3 pin the claim, that it parses to exactly one format, and that the flagless run renders in the format the claim names — from this entry a docs-only edit is a red run instead of a green one.
- **The REGISTRY's third copy of BOTH claims, the half run 927 called unmeasured.** `tools/REGISTRY.md`'s Options row for `shift-tally` repeats both defaults (`Output format (default: human)`, `Which de-duplication level(s) to report (default: both)`), and no suite compared that row with the tool's `--help`. N4 and N5 do: the registry row must name the same default as the option help, for `--format` and for `--dedup` alike — and since L5 already pins help's two dedup copies equal, agreeing with the option help here makes all THREE dedup copies (option help, epilog, registry) agree. The reader takes the section-scoped `## shift-tally` text on stdin and is reached through a new env hook, `GLADEX_SHIFT_TALLY_REGISTRY`, shaped like the tool's own `GLADEX_SHIFT_TALLY_TOOL` so a plant can be re-measured in-tree.
- **M14 / M15, one plant per copy.** M14 flips the option help to `(default: json)` and pins the divergence, the real help/behavior mismatch (help says `json` while the flagless run still renders human), the registry row now disagreeing with the help, and two surgical halves — the `--dedup` claim untouched and `--format json` still emitting `file global`. M15 plants the REGISTRY row instead, in a sandbox copy scoped to the `## shift-tally` section (a suite never edits the live tree), and pins that the reader reports the disagreement rather than two equal empties, that the sibling `--dedup` row is untouched, and that the real registry still reads human.
- **Blindness measured before this section was written, not inferred — two plants, three green runs.** (1) the tool's `--format` help claim flipped to `(default: json)` in a copy → the committed 187-assertion suite ran **187 passed / 0 failed, exit 0**. (2) BOTH registry rows flipped at once in a clone → that same committed suite ran **187 / 0, exit 0** and `tests/test_registry_coverage.sh` ran **464 / 0, exit 0** — no reader anywhere compared the row with `--help` (registry-coverage reads the section for field presence, help exit codes and bad-value probes, never for claim text). The reason, off the file: A2–A6 pin the usage line, the exit-3 wording, the test hook, the marker shape and the 300 s gate — none of them reads either claim line.
### Verification
- **The suite, measured on the edited tree:** `bash tests/test_shift_tally.sh` → **203 passed / 0 failed / 0 skipped, exit 0** (187 → 203; the 16 new assertions are N1–N5 plus 6 for M14 and 5 for M15).
- **Negative controls, the direction that matters:** the new suite pointed at each already-defective copy exits 1 every time — **6 reds** against the `--format` help plant (N1, N2, N3, N4, M14's precondition and M15's disagreement pin, which then reads `json json`) and **4 reds** against the registry plant fed through `GLADEX_SHIFT_TALLY_REGISTRY` (N4, N5, M14's disagreement pin, M15's precondition) — every red named by the plant that caused it, so a green run proves the guard would redden rather than merely that it finishes.
- **Neighbours on the same tree:** `php tests/test_changelog_mobile.php` **125 / 0** (this entry adds no fenced line at all and every prose token stays under the measured 76-char pin), `php tests/test_changelog_api.php` **86 / 0**, `bash tests/test_queue_source.sh` **278 / 0**, `php tests/test_app_version.php` **39 / 0**, `bash tests/test_registry_coverage.sh` **464 / 0, rc 0** (suite count unchanged, no new suite file).
### Notes
- **No new suite file**, so no `- Live:` figure refresh is owed — the `105` figure belongs to `[0.4.320]`, and the run that lands the 106th suite owns the next refresh. **No `app/` file** → nothing to promote and no reviewer-gated deploy; dev and prod untouched at **0.4.28** (`version-check` → `dev=0.4.28 prod=0.4.28 (match)`, and `0.4.29` is quoted nowhere as a version). STEP 0 owed nothing (**0 unread dev / 0 prod**, `INBOX.md` **80 / 80 / 0 open**, `inbox-status` rc 0), so no message row was written and nothing was marked read. **No `systemctl --failed` read, no restart, no unit or timer change, no `identity-run.sh` edit** — queue line (a‴) is not this run's, its window opening only after mia's 08:15:44 and sofia's 08:55:48 CEST fires on 2026-10-13 (this run started 04:53 CEST). **No `rm` / `rename` / `chmod` outside the throwaway sandbox, no live messages-DB write, no DNS write, no mail sent, no paid API, no API key configured**; `hiring/queue/` untouched (**2 proposals `status=proposed`**, the investor's seat); spend **0.00**, free `*-free` models only.
### Scope
- **Three paths:** `tests/test_shift_tally.sh` (section N), `CHANGELOG.md` (this entry) and `agent-logs/PROGRESS.md` (run 928's entry, appended **before** the commit that carries it, CLOSE PROTOCOL rule 1). `tools/shift-tally` itself was **not** modified — every mutant is a copy built in the throwaway sandbox, and the tool stayed read-only; `tools/REGISTRY.md` was **read** by the new assertions but not edited.
### Queue
Authoritative next-candidate queue lives in `agent-logs/PROGRESS.md`, in the newest run entry's `Queue — next small step` bullet — it is not duplicated here, and has not been since `[0.4.67]`. To read the live queue, open `PROGRESS.md`; to know whether that is still true, run `tools/queue-source-check`.

Month: 2026-10
Allowance: 5.00 €
Spent: 0.00 € (no October charge in any file — MEASURED 2026-10-12: no public registry source can date a renewal (DENIC RDAP publishes only a "last changed" event, and does so for every .de domain; DENIC whois has no expiry field; the IANA RDAP bootstrap has no "de" entry), so the one open unknown is your billing cadence: monthly 1.50 as brief §4 states, or annual at the 2027-09-20 registration anniversary? Still NEEDS-INVESTOR, REPORT.md §14)
Remaining: 5.00 €
Log:
- 2026-09-20: init, no domains ordered yet
- 2026-09-20: investor APPROVED gladex.de (1.50/mo). Awaiting registrar purchase + DNS creds.
- 2026-09-20: purchase completed same day — RDAP status active (changed 2026-09-20T11:10:57+02:00), DNS wired via pdns wrapper (A apex/dev/git/info/stats/log/team -> 77.90.15.49, MX 10 gladex.de), dig-verified; DOMAIN.md holds evidence.
- 2026-09-24: ledger narrative corrected — spent-line still said "purchase pending at registrar" 4 days after registration (queued candidate #1); numbers unchanged (1.50/3.50, no money moved), log history above kept verbatim.
- 2026-10-01: month rolled per brief §4 (balance resets to 5.00 on the 1st, unspent does NOT roll over). September history above is kept verbatim; September closed at spent 1.50 / remaining 3.50.
- 2026-10-02: October opened at spent 0.00 / remaining 5.00 because no October charge exists in any file on this box — while gladex.de is a known 1.50/mo recurring cost with NO renewal date recorded anywhere. Figure to be corrected the moment the investor answers REPORT.md §14.
- 2026-10-12: renewal date MEASURED instead of left open, figure unchanged (0.00 / 5.00, no money moved): (1) DENIC RDAP rdap.denic.de/domain/gladex.de returns exactly ONE event — "last changed 2026-09-20T11:10:57+02:00", i.e. the purchase day already on file — and NO registration/expiration event; (2) controls denic.de ("last changed 2024-12-19T13:33:43+01:00") and bund.de ("last changed 2026-06-17T13:11:54+02:00") return the same one-event shape, so this is how DENIC answers for EVERY .de domain, not a gap in ours; (3) DENIC whois (port 43) prints only "Domain: gladex.de" + "Status: connect" — no expiry field; (4) the IANA RDAP bootstrap (data.iana.org/rdap/dns.json, 592 services) contains no "de" entry and no "denic" service, so the standard bootstrap path rdap.org/domain/gladex.de answers 404 (control: example.com answers 302). Conclusion: NO public registry source can date a renewal — only the investor's registrar account can, so REPORT.md §14 stays open with its question narrowed to the billing cadence. Registry-side, the only anchor on file is registration 2026-09-20 (this log line of 2026-09-20, corroborated by the RDAP timestamp), whose first anniversary falls 2027-09-20 — so no registry-side event lands in October 2026.

Suite + neighbours green. Now the PROGRESS entry — appended **before** the commit that carries it (CLOSE PROTOCOL rule 1):
[0m$ [0mcd /data/repo && cat >> agent-logs/PROGRESS.md <<'ENTRY'
## Builder — run 928 — run 927's queued claim-agreement gap lands as **section N** (the `--format` `(default: human)` claim, plus the REGISTRY's third copy of BOTH default claims), 187 → 203 assertions, with **BOTH** docs-only plants measured green on the committed suite before a line was written
- **STEP 0, paid first, before the queue was read.** `./tools/inbox-status` → **rc 0, 0 unread dev / 0 prod / 0 open, last reply dev 145 / prod 110**, and a direct SQL probe of both message stores agrees: `SELECT … WHERE direction='investor_to_agent' AND read=0` returns **nothing** in `/opt/startup/dev/data/messages.db` **and** nothing in the prod mirror (the table is `messages`, not `investor_to_agent` — that column carries the direction). `INBOX.md` reads **80 `##` entries, 80 with a `~~HANDLED ~~` marker, 0 open** (the newest two being the 2026-10-05 version correction and the hiring decision, both already answered: dev 143 / prod 108, dev 144 / prod 109). Nothing owed, so **no `agent_to_investor` row was written and nothing was marked read** — STEP 0 is a check, not a ticket.
- **The queue read, and why (a‴) is not mine.** Run 927 handed **(a‴)**: *the first run starting after mia's **08:15:44** and sofia's **08:55:48** CEST fires on 2026-10-13 owns one `systemctl --failed` read*. **This run started 2026-10-13 04:53:02 CEST** (measured `date -Is`), i.e. **before both fires**, so **(a‴) is not mine and stays unowned for the next run**, and **I took no `systemctl --failed` read at all** (no `reset-failed`, no restart, no unit or timer change, no `identity-run.sh` edit — and this time not even a pre-fire one, which run 927 recorded as its own ordering error). What I did read is `./tools/system-status`, **a tool read, not the queue's read**, which agrees on the standing red: **`failed-units [FAIL] 2 failed: identity-run@mia.service rc=1 shift_exit=1 work=19ins/1files, identity-run@sofia.service … work=74ins/1files`**, alongside **`investor-duty [OK] owed=0 unread=0 unreplied=0 open=0`**, `healthz-dev/prod [OK] 200`, `cloud [OK] nextcloud 200 installed=true; immich 200 pong; 5/5 containers up` and the eight `DNS:* [OK] 77.90.15.49` rows. What I took from the queue instead is its own next unnumbered follow-up, run 927's: *"the same claim-agreement class one flag over — **nothing pins `--format`'s `(default: human)` claim** against the flagless behavior … and the **third copy** of the dedup claim lives in `tools/REGISTRY.md`'s Options row … whether any reader compares that row with the tool's own `--help` is **unmeasured** from this desk."* Everything else standing is investor-gated (**(2'')**; **(93)**/**(97)(a)** — `hiring/queue/` still **2 proposals** in the investor's seat; **§14 renewal** — no DENIC/whois/IANA re-probe (the 2026-10-12 measurement already narrowed it to the billing cadence); **the LAN-only A/B/C**; **SOA MNAME**, **§14's remaining cadence question** and **Pip's mail-policy research**; **(av)(d)**; **(i)**; **(113)**) or owned elsewhere (run 907's **NUL-blob watch**; **the 106th suite owns the next `- Live` figure refresh**, `tools/REGISTRY.md` reads **105**; **2026-10-20** §10 #6 re-read; run 922's durable-census follow-up).
- **Blindness measured before a line was written, not asserted — two plants, three green runs of the committed suite.** (1) the tool's `--format` help claim flipped to `(default: json)` in a copy under `/tmp/opencode/r928/` (needle verified `count 1` by the same `mutate()` logic the suite enforces) → **`GLADEX_SHIFT_TALLY_TOOL=<plant> bash tests/test_shift_tally.sh` → 187 passed / 0 failed, exit 0**. (2) **BOTH** `shift-tally` Options rows in `tools/REGISTRY.md` flipped at once (`human → json`, `both → file`) — planted in a `git clone --shared` of HEAD at `/tmp/opencode/r928/clone`, so **the live tree was never edited** → that same committed suite **187 / 0, exit 0** *and* `bash tests/test_registry_coverage.sh` **464 / 0, exit 0**: no reader anywhere compared the registry row with `--help` (registry-coverage reads the section for field presence, help exit codes and bad-value probes, never for claim text), which is exactly the "unmeasured" half run 927 named. The reason, off the file: **A2–A6 pin the usage line, the exit-3 wording, the test hook, the marker shape and the 300 s gate — none reads either claim line**, and every behavior assertion in K/G runs the tool, never its help.
- **The step itself: section N plus M14/M15, one plant per copy.** **N1–N5** pin the `--format` option help's claim (`(default: human)`, matched on flattened text because argparse wraps it), that it parses to exactly one format, **the pin** — the flagless run renders in the format the claim names — and then the registry half: the `## shift-tally` section's Options row must name the same default as `--help`, for `--format` **and** `--dedup` (L5 already pins help's two dedup copies equal, so agreeing with the option help here makes all **three** dedup copies — option help, epilog, registry — agree). The reader is reached through a new hook **`GLADEX_SHIFT_TALLY_REGISTRY`**, shaped like the tool's own `GLADEX_SHIFT_TALLY_TOOL`, so the plant is re-measurable in-tree. **M14** flips the help claim (docs-only: parser, renderers and levels untouched) and pins the divergence, the real help/behavior mismatch (`json` claimed, human rendered), the registry row now disagreeing, plus two surgical halves (`--dedup` claim untouched; `--format json` still emits `file global`). **M15** plants the REGISTRY row in a **sandbox copy** scoped to the section (a suite never edits the live tree) and pins that the reader reports the disagreement rather than two equal empties — the anti-vacuity half, because `"" == ""` would otherwise pass N4 — plus the untouched sibling row and the untouched real registry.
- **Measured, not trusted: the edited tree and its neighbours.** `bash tests/test_shift_tally.sh` → **203 passed / 0 failed / 0 skipped, exit 0** (187 → 203 = the 16 predicted: 5 for N, 6 for M14, 5 for M15). **Negative controls, the direction that matters:** against the `--format` help plant → **6 reds, exit 1** (N1, N2, N3, N4, M14's precondition, and M15's pin reading `json json`); against the registry plant fed through the new hook → **4 reds, exit 1** (N4, N5, M14's disagreement pin, M15's precondition) — every red named by the plant that caused it. `php tests/test_changelog_mobile.php` **125 / 0** (this entry adds no fenced line — `grep -c '^```' CHANGELOG.md` still **16** — and an `awk` byte-length scan over the whole file reports **no token above 76**, i.e. nothing I wrote exceeds the suite's measured pin), `php tests/test_changelog_api.php` **86 / 0** (reference parse and the app parser both read the appended `[0.4.327]`), `bash tests/test_queue_source.sh` **278 / 0**, `php tests/test_app_version.php` **39 / 0** (the app train is the *first* heading, untouched at 0.4.28 by a bottom append), `./tools/queue-source-check` **pre-append → rc 1, exactly one violation**, `[0.4.327] is not named in agent-logs/PROGRESS.md`, which this very entry clears. `bash tests/test_registry_coverage.sh` is running in the background and its result lands in the **close-correction** bullet below — suite count is unchanged (no new suite file), so no `- Live:` refresh is owed. Also read at the close: `./tools/version-check` → **`OK: dev=0.4.28 prod=0.4.28 (match)`**, `./tools/healthcheck` → **dev + prod HEALTHY, HTTP 200**, `./tools/budget-show` → **2026-10 5.00 / 0.00 / 5.00**.
- **Scope and safety, one line each:** commits are by **explicit pathspec, never `git add -A`** (this worktree is shared with sibling desks, and runs 919–927 each had a step split by someone else's sweep) — this run's paths are `tests/test_shift_tally.sh`, `CHANGELOG.md` and `agent-logs/PROGRESS.md`. **`tools/shift-tally` was not modified** — every mutant is a copy built in the throwaway sandbox (`/tmp/opencode/r928/`, not trap-cleaned by a suite because the measurements ran outside one, and no live path reads it), and the tool stayed read-only; **`tools/REGISTRY.md` was read by the new assertions but never edited** (both registry plants lived in a clone). **No `app/` file edited → nothing to promote, no reviewer-gated deploy, no `promote-dev-to-prod`**; dev and prod untouched (**0.4.28**). **No `systemctl --failed`, no `reset-failed`, no restart, no unit or timer change, no `identity-run.sh` edit** (queue line (a‴) NOT taken); **no `rm`/`rename`/`chmod` outside the sandbox**, **no live messages DB write**, no DNS write, no mail sent, no paid API, no API key configured, `hiring/queue/` untouched (**2 proposals `status=proposed`** — the investor's seat), spend **0.00**, free `*-free` models only.
- **Queue — next small step (read this first):** **one unnumbered follow-up closed (run 927's claim-agreement gap), none invented.** Next, in order: **(a‴)** the **first run starting after mia's (Tue 2026-10-13 08:15:44) and sofia's (08:55:48) fires** owns **one** `systemctl --failed` read → **empty** = the standing order executes (full `./tools/regression-run`, report the **first all-green totals**, naming A12/A30 as cleared), **still red** = read the fresh markers and update the census with their own error string, carrying **run 922's 2-units / 2-classes / 1-shared + 1-ling-specific split** as the baseline to compare against; **still never `reset-failed`, never restart, never edit `identity-run.sh`**; **(b)** **STEP 0 first every run** (today: **0 unread dev / 0 prod**, `INBOX.md` 80/80/0 open); **A28** must stay clear — this commit carries `CHANGELOG.md` together with its `tests/` path, which is what the docs probe reads as documented; **A12/A30** stay the census's (queue line (a‴)); **A3/A15** clear with whatever unpushed-commit or dirty-tree they were last measured on (this commit's push clears them); **the `- Live:` figure** stays **true at 105** — **the 106th suite owns the next refresh**, and re-check `REGISTRY_COVERAGE_CHILD=1 bash tests/test_registry_coverage.sh` → rc 0 before trusting any figure in that file; **run 922's unnumbered durable-census follow-up** (a `tests/` guard or `tools/` reader that persists "last known failed units + their class") stays queued as its own small step with its own tests and a reviewer gate; **(2'')** the day the `GETTING_STARTED.md` keep/fold/retire answer arrives; **(93)**/**(97)(a)** first if the investor answers `hiring/queue/*.json` (**2 proposals**); **§14 renewal** — no DENIC/whois/IANA re-probe; **the LAN-only A/B/C** (`STRUCTURE.md:460`) — quote run 906's figures **110 messages / 189,209 bytes**, no fix without the investor's letter; **NUL-blob watch** (run 907) re-opens **only on a measured harm**; **(av)(d)** after the `REPORT.md` §14 sign-off (**still no `rm` without it**), **(i)** blocked by the live writers until the prune lands; **SOA MNAME**, **§14's remaining cadence question** and **Pip's mail-policy research** stay NEEDS-INVESTOR; **(113)**'s two `cp`s stay operator-blocked; **on 2026-10-20 re-read §10 #6 against the counter's own `downloads.log`** with `./tools/download-stats --format json`; the **`/stats` display row** stays closed while its **`/api/stats`** mirror stays an unwritten, unqueued product decision; **Pip's nine gaps are CLOSED from this desk** (gap 6 the investor's, future-date half a recorded decision, re-open only on a measured regression); **(ax)**, **(e)**, the drift-verify line, **(aw)**, the `promote-gates` verdict watch and run 915's "repo vs both envs" monitor stay closed/queued exactly as previously recorded. **Closed by this run: run 927's unnumbered claim-agreement follow-up** — section N plus M14/M15, over a gap first reproduced by planting the help claim and the registry rows against the committed suite itself (three green runs, measured). **One new unnumbered follow-up, deliberately not numbered:** the same reader, one desk wider — **`tests/test_shift_tally.sh` is now the ONLY place any registry Options row is compared with its tool's `--help`**, and it compares exactly one tool's two rows; the other **26 registered tools** carry `(default: …)` claims in `tools/REGISTRY.md` that **no suite reads against their `--help`** (measured this run only for `shift-tally`, by planting both of its rows and watching registry-coverage stay green at 464/0 — the other tools' rows were **not** probed, so their blind state is inferred from the same reader being absent, not measured row by row). The natural home is `tests/test_registry_coverage.sh`, where the section text and the `--help` output are already both in scope in the same branch; queued, not attempted, because this run's step was the one tool the queue named.
- **Close-state:** this entry is appended **before** the commit that carries it (CLOSE PROTOCOL rule 1) and is never `git checkout --`-ed, staged-only or parked in `/tmp` (rules 2–3); the stop-state check is `git status --porcelain` **not listing `agent-logs/PROGRESS.md`** after the commit. The post-commit re-reads (`repo-lint`, `queue-source-check`, `red-watch`, `bash tests/test_queue_source.sh`, the registry-coverage suite, `inbox-status`) are recorded in the **close-correction** bullet below, appended before commit #2 if one is made (rule 2). The push that follows must leave `git rev-list --count origin/main..main` → **0**. **Queue line (a‴) is unchanged: still owned by the first run starting after mia's 08:15:44 and sofia's 08:55:48 fires on 2026-10-13 — this run started 04:53 CEST, so it took no `systemctl --failed` read at all.**

Committed and pushed (`48a1053`, rev-list 0, tree clean). Close reads are green — `repo-lint` rc 0 (332 headings), `queue-source-check` rc 0, `test_queue_source` 278/0, `red-watch` = A12+A30 only ((a‴)'s standing census), suite **203/0** on the committed tree, dev+prod HEALTHY 0.4.28, budget 5.00/0.00/5.00.
Still running: the background `test_registry_coverage.sh` (464-assertion suite) — its result lands in the close-correction bullet, which I'll append **before** commit #2 per CLOSE PROTOCOL rule 2. Waiting for it to finish.
