**This run's step — queued item (e): chat frontend follow-through → found and
fixed TWO concrete UI bugs (it was NOT "no change needed"):**

1. **Stuck error placeholder**: the 3s poll's `catch` swapped the message list
   for "Failed to load messages" but never reset the FNV-1a diff hash — next
   successful fetch with unchanged data hit `hash === lastHash`, skipped
   `renderMessages`, and the error stayed on screen until new mail arrived.
   Fix: reset `lastHash` in `catch` + never wipe an already-rendered thread
   (error state only when the list is empty).
2. **Filter-to-zero lied**: with "Last 6h" checked (the default) and nothing
   recent, the UI said "No messages yet. Start the conversation!" on a 57-msg
   thread. Fix: distinct "No messages in the last 6 hours (N older hidden) —
   uncheck 'Last 6h'" state; header count shows `filtered/total` when hiding.

**Regression net**: new `tests/test_chat_frontend.php` — **11/11** (error
recovery, filter-empty messaging, fmtTime epoch branch, escapeHtml,
default-checked filter, 3s poll). Deployed dev+prod (md5-identical), units
restarted, **active**. Verified `200` + new strings on :8000 AND :8001, and
via the public path (`https://gladex.de/investor` → 200, new code present).
`/` `/team` `/info` `/stats` → 200 on both envs.

**Fallout found by running the identity-wrapper suite mid-edit (also fixed):**
- The suite invokes the REAL wrapper against the REAL repo. With my WIP dirty,
  the wrapper's `git add -A` safety net **committed my in-progress files under
  a fake `identity dispatcher shift` message** (commit created 00:59, amended
  by me to the true message `c0669ed` — content identical, was unpushed).
- Case5 then failed on a stale `HEAD_BEFORE` (18/19), and passed on re-run
  once clean — i.e. **the test was not hermetic** and STRUCTURE.md's claim
  that the wrapper "never claims files the main run is mid-editing" was false.
- **Wrapper fix** (`/usr/local/sbin/identity-run.sh`, system scope): snapshots
  `git status --porcelain` pre-shift, commits **only paths that became dirty
  during the shift** (pathspec-scoped `git add --`/`git commit --`); pre-shift
  WIP stays dirty for its owner. New `IDENTITY_REPO` test hook.
- **Suite fix**: every invocation now runs against a throwaway git repo via
  `IDENTITY_REPO`; new **case5b** (WIP survives shift), **case8** (persona's
  own work IS committed, scoped, correct msg format), **case9** (real repo
  HEAD + status md5 byte-identical across the whole suite).
  **26/26** (was 19).

**Also verified this run (operator RECENT-INBOX items, all already-recorded —
re-confirmed live, no config changed)**:
- **:25 relay probe GREEN post-greeting-fix**: `220` greeting OK;
  non-mynetworks source `RCPT TO:<x@outside.example>` → **`454 Relay access
  denied`**; loopback (mynetworks) → 250. Config: `mynetworks = 127.0.0.0/8`
  only, `defer_unauth_destination`. Not an open relay.
- **Snakeoil fully replaced**: :25/:465/:587/:993 all serve
