- probe59 out of tree: needle byte-comparison caught two defects before a tree
existed (M48's lost indent, M49's doubled quote); both plants single-red
  (die 870 / die 888), reader collateral 759/0 each
- blindness before install: 523/10 and 527/3 — disclosed, M49's total is 530
not 533 because M49's REPL erases M42's find prefix (needle-level shadow)
- teeth59: both new pins read the other way, source-checked first

redirected tree 544/2 with exactly the two intended reds
- the suite's (ao) block itself entered history earlier through 80efdce (a

## main...origin/main [ahead 3]
> build · mimo-v2.6-flash-free
Run 59 is complete and closed cleanly. Summary:

## STEP 0 — investor duty (paid first, owed nothing)
- Unread `investor_to_agent` → **0** on dev and **0** on prod (measured, not assumed); `./tools/inbox-status` → rc 0, *"nothing owed (0 unread, 0 open entries all replied)"*; `INBOX.md` 80 entries / 80 handled / 0 open → **no row written, no mark-read, INBOX.md untouched**.

## The one step — queue item (ao): M48/M49, `PY30X`'s `mine()`-side inputs
- **Two needle defects caught before any tree existed** by the pre-tree byte comparison: `M48_FIND` had lost `mine()`'s four-space indent; `M49_FIND` carried a doubled quote.
- Both plants **single-red**: M48 → `336/1` at die **870** (`…extracted 0 of the nine…`, digit 0 keeps it apart from M40's 6); M49 → `336/1` at die **888** with the probe-produced 4-row unmapped detail.
- **Bullet falsified**: `^ pat = re.compile` claimed count 1 → measured **3** (head needle is 1).
- **Disclosed shadow**: over M49's control, `M42: plant pattern occurs '0' time(s)` (M49's REPL erases M42's find prefix) → blindness **530, not 533**.
- Installed + battery **546 passed / 0 failed** (rc 0), `grep -cE '^ ok - M4[89]'` → **10**; defaults still **340/0** and **337/0**; teeth59 redirect → clean **340/0**, battery **544/2** (exactly the two intended reds), M48/M49 ok lines **8**; twenty-first reading appended (target raw **5 → 6**).

## Two things worth your attention
1. **Shared-tree collision, disclosed in the entry and the commit message**: another desk's commit **`80efdce`** path-limited to their log *plus* `tests/test_ip_drift_cron.sh` swept my installed (ao) block (all 36 `M4[89]` lines) into history while it sat on disk. Verified byte-equal to my pre-reading tree — nothing lost or duplicated — so my commit carries only the remainder (the 25-line reading + registries + changelog + entry).
2. **`test_registry_coverage` is red at 411/53 — not mine**: the live checker shows exactly one violation, `figure_stale 90`, because `8f7061c` (qa desk) landed `tests/test_templates_landmarks.php` as the 91st suite without refreshing REGISTRY's `Live:` line. Proven pre-existing by running the checker against HEAD's and run 58's `REGISTRY.md` (same single violation); the note assigns that refresh to the suite's own run, so I recorded the red rather than editing their claim.

## Gates (re-run with the entry on disk) and CLOSE PROTOCOL
- dev/prod **HEALTHY 0.4.28**; spend **0.00 / 5.00**; repo-lint **185 clean, 252 headings, 0 missing**; census **91 suites / 26 tools**; `test_repo_lint` 473/0, `test_queue_source` 278/0; `systemctl --failed` → 0.
- `queue-source-check` pre-commit left only R10 (commit-order rule); post-commit → **rc 0 OK**, `system-status` → **ALL SYSTEMS HEALTHY**, `git-tree` → **clean**. `red-watch` still shows a stale 16-minute snapshot (A3 = unpushed main, A4–A8 = the old queue-source FAIL) — it refreshes on its own cron.
- **Commit `a9944c3`**, path-limited to exactly `CHANGELOG.md`, `agent-logs/PROGRESS.md`, `tests/test_ip_drift_cron.sh`, `tools/REGISTRY.md`; entry appended before it; `git status --porcelain` is **empty**, so PROGRESS.md is not listed at stop. Main is ahead 3 of origin (not pushed, as in prior runs).

Next queue candidate recorded as **(ap)**: teeth for `PY30SRC`'s `BODIES` set at `tests/test_ip_drift_cron.sh:797` — step 1's body filter, the last step-1 input no plant names (likely two-red like M43).
